All new members using the fitness equipment are encouraged to schedule an orientation in order to learn proper technique and safe usage of the machines.

Personal Fitness Program The Personal Fitness Program is a 12-week free program designed for the individual who has a difficult time dedicating him or herself to a fitness program. Our goal is to help design and maintain a personal fitness program.

Personal Training

Personal training is one of the most effective ways to workout. If you have specific goals and want a program designed specifically for you, one of the YMCA personal trainers can help you achieve your goals. All YMCA Personal Trainers are certified. 

High Steppers

The YMCA High Steppers are a unique group of Seniors that meet on Tuesday mornings at the YMCA to rehearse dance routines and exercise. They perform at retirement homes, fairs, parades, and other special events.

Active Older Adults

YMCA Active Older Adults (AOA) meet the last Friday of very month for a pot-luck luncheon or a lunch outting. The YMCA offers many different class formats for the member that is 50+. Specific classes designed with this age group in mind include: Walking Classes, Senior Power Hour, Basic Cardio, Basic Flex, Senior Pilates, and Silver Sneakers. If you are looking to stay fit and healthy long past retirement, work out with the YMCA Active Older Adults. We also plan monthly outings...field trips, sight seeing, and more!
